buzz is a chocolate company that specializes in combining coffee-infused organic chocolate and honeycomb. The name buzz is a play off of a bee’s sound and the sensation you get when you drink too much coffee. The negative space between the “z’s” creates an upward facing arrow, depicting the feeling you would get after eating one of the chocolates, but also can be seen as the tip of a bee’s stinger.
The hexagon pattern was used to mimic a beehive, and the gold and brown in the logo are evocative of the colors of honey and chocolate. The individual package colors would change to reflect a color associated with that particular chocolate bar’s flavor; such as green for pistachio, red for chili, etc…
